"She turned, and saw a great white moon looking at her over the hill. And her breast opened to it, she was cleaved like a transparent jewel to its light. She stood filled with the full moon, offering herself. She wanted the moon to fill her, she wanted more, more communion with the moon, consummation....She stood for some moments out in the overwhelming luminosity of the moon. She seemed a beam of gleaming power. She was afraid of what she was."DHL
All that have walked the forests of Triskele have come for their portion of the All. Each with their story of joys and sorrows, present-past, and hopes. Even the smallest of elves and tiniest sparrows hold their place in this relentless breath of creation. We only know what we can know. And seek the rest in hopes that our hearts will fall open to the lifting veils.
The veils are lifting for this tiny elf. And at the expense of forfeiting a comfortable life and the honor of serving the Tari ,and all the Elves of Triskele, I must speak what burns most deeply in my heart and forms my soul.
To speak the light is only half the tale. To speak the dark is still only half.
As well as all light if not good and all dark is not evil, I now know that I must embrace both dark and light to know the truth of this one tiny destiny.
I cannot turn from either of my legacies. For to turn away from the Dark dragon father is to add evil through what is suppressed. And to embrace only the light denies the dark in which the seed is nourished.
I believe that you Lady Red, more than anyone ,would understand this as well.
For you …your present rest is as the Tari in the Sun City of Mal'anar. You bring both the dark and the light as a whole, and chose to guide the Elves with this wisdom and experience .
It would be easy to say I understand and never need the experience of knowing the full circle of life.
But you know as I do that this is not the path to wisdom without the experience.
The empty is the dark.
Longing to be filled.
With heavy heart and deep sadness I request to be released from my place in the Elven city so that I can find the balance, and seek those portions of the whole that is yet unknown to me.
With your permission , and the acceptance of the Family of Dragons permission ,I request that I might continue to maintain my Elven biped form equally with the release of what has been bound and hidden:
The Dark Dragon.
I can not hold back the waters of my fathers line any longer. The burden has been profound. And I think I would choose death rather than hold this part back past one more season of Mabon .
You have been my light and inspiration as Tari and guide for all the Elves and all races that come to or live in the city of Mal'anar.
With deepest regrets I leave ….to embrace the Dark Dragon equally . ….Knowing that the path will no longer be safe and all winds will not be fair.
I bow before my Tari and mentor who I only briefly served . The many kindnesses and guidance will not be forgotten. You have always treated me with respect and fairness in all matters
.
I would also like to request that upon reading this scroll that you ,Lady Red and Malakyte will grant this little Elf an audience with your decision before the sun takes leave to be replaced by the dark and cold.
I will be leaving for three days and three nights into the forest to pray and will look for your response when I return.

5:37] Ondine Ninetails whips her black cape around her shoulders to fend off the mist and cold of the deep forest
[5:38] Ondine Ninetails: all the while wondering how her friend and former associate seraf is doing
[5:39] Ondine Ninetails: coming out of her deep prayer and meditation she stands up and listens for any sign of life
[5:40] Ondine Ninetails: a great silence permeates the dawn and nothing stirs but the rustle of leaves that promises of a bleak winter
[5:43] Ondine Ninetails sips some warm herb tea that sits by the small campfire and wonders where the muse will take her steps next...all the while a faint tremor rises through her being like a distant humming of bees from her feet to the place just above her twitching Elven ears
[5:48] Seraf Clip feels his cousin thinking about him with her troubled mind .. having difficulties making a decision but sends her happy thoughts to make her relax
[5:51] Ondine Ninetails lifts her eyes as she feels a warmth rush over her eyes as if a vision of her friend would lighten her heart...and whispers to the ethers" If your out there seraf...I send you greetings and wish you well"
[5:53] Ondine Ninetails: then returns to her contemplation closes her eyes and descends once more into the dark
[5:58] Seraf Clip as he stands on a battlefield with crossed arms as he talks with a few folk all sounds mute.. a flash of his friend appears and hears a familiar voice and smiles knowing its his friend Ondine greetings him in thoughts and wishing him well than whispers in her mind "greetings to you too my friend... take care and be safe"
[6:01] Ondine Ninetails feels a smile escape over her lips and the Elven words of "be safe" repeated
